On Thursday 26th November 2020, the Department for International Trade, UK Science & Innovation Network and British Embassy Vienna will partner to run a Healthy Ageing Forum: Harnessing the Power of Innovation to meet the Needs of an Ageing Society.
As part of the Healthy Ageing Forum, Spirit Health’s CEO, Chris Barker, will be joining a commercial panel to discuss ‘Digital health innovations from UK & Austria to enable healthy ageing and increase wellbeing’.
Focused on the opportunities and challenges presented by an increasingly ageing society, the forum will bring together policymakers, businesses and researchers from Austria and the UK.
“Harnessing the power of innovation to create products and services that meet the needs of an ageing society requires international collaboration across industry and academia. It is this spirit of collaboration that will be at the core of this forum.”

They will explore the impacts of an ageing population and the exchange of best practice in policy decision-making, healthcare and commercial innovations in both countries.
To ensure that people live longer and healthier lives, both the Austrian and UK governments have set out national strategies to support patients with innovative digital technology.
